Ironically enough, Arnold himself now advocates against livestock agriculture. The most renowned meat-eater in existence is telling people to go more plant-based!

Where do you get your protein from?
All vegetables, fruit, legumes, and all other plant-based foods inherently contain amino acids, which are the building blocks of protein. Animal flesh and products are not the only source of protein. Kale and spinach, for example, contain DOUBLE the amount of protein of beef if compared by weight. Personally, my muscle definition has been popping out more clearly ever since I switched.
I don’t like salads. What else is there to eat?
Delicious meat alternatives come to market everyday, like Leo DiCaprio-backed Beyond Meat‘s products. Every favourite dish that you can think of can be replicated without animals. A local example is vegan restaurant Meet on Main. You can find juicy burgers, mac n cheeses, and big Buddha bowls. There are hundreds of varieties of vegetables, legumes, pulses, grains, nuts, seeds, starches, and sprouts at every grocery store. If you don’t drink milk and eat cheese, you’ll become calcium-deficient.
Leafy greens such as broccoli and spinach contains LOTS of calcium. So do non-dairy alternatives. Dairy products are acidic and pumped full of animal-grade antibiotics, hormones. Research has found dairy actually LEACHES calcium from our bones! This means weaker bones and a higher risk of fractures as we age.
Why are eggs a problem? The hens aren’t killed.
Our egg addiction means the death of millions of baby chicks a week because they’re born MALE and therefore of no use to the female-focused egg industry. Those lil guys are tossed into massive metal funnels, ground up, and fed to cattle and farmed fish. Not to mention the miserable lives of hens, which are jam-packed into tiny cages littered with filth.
I love cheese and bacon. I can’t live without them.
Trust me, I used to love cheese and bacon too! I grew up eating fried chicken, cheesy nachos, and grilled cheese sandwiches. I perfected the art of bacon frying. Just because I used to do it doesn’t mean it has to be that way forever. By that logic, then slavery and gender inequality will never be eradicated. It’s been two years of animal-free eating. I 100% feel fitter than ever. Cutting cheese and bacon will actually allow you to live LONGER AND HEALTHIER!
